Pentagon computers hacked.

U.S. Defense officials confirmed that Chinese hackers broke into part of the Pentagon email system which Rep. Frank Wolf had used. The government claims the that Chinese want to break into U.S. Government system to plant trap doors, which will let the hackers enter the system at a later date. (During a war!)

Everyday you see something about the Chinese hacking into someones computer. The truth is, there is a large zombie network out there right now that could hinder 99% of all computers, not at once, but there really isn’t a computer network that could stand up to it. The zombie network is sleeping, but when the owner decides to waken the zombie, networks will crash and be overloaded. This is also known as a Distributed Denial of Service attack, and you can bet your pants someone is in control of a big one.

Below are some statements by Rep. Frank Wolf on the matter.

“In subsequent meetings with House Information Resources and officials from the FBI, I was told not only that other members and at least one committee of the House had been similarly compromised, but that the outside sources responsible for this attack came from within the People’s Republic of China,” Wolf said in a statement on the House floor.

“China in particular is actively engaged in espionage against the United States,” Wolf said. According to a classified report by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission,” Chinese espionage activity is “very alarming,” Wolf said.
